Introduction
Originally settled by members of the Nawafleh tribe in the late 1800's, the “Petra Moon Village” was built using natural resources of stone and wood. Abandoned in 1975, due to the meteoric rise of Wadi Musa and Petra, in recent years the village was lovingly restored in to a luxury boutique hotel by members of the Nawafleh family.
