During this tour you will make your way from the medieval Upper Town to the buzzing Lower Town all while discovering some of the Zagreb’s most important sites and landmarks. The Upper Town is where the city’s medieval allure is most prevalent. Dotted with palaces, museums, churches, and galleries, the districts that make up part of the city retain much of their traditional charm, while Kaptol district is also home to Zagreb’s most monumental religious building – the Cathedral of the Assumption Mary. After exploring Upper Town, you will head to the Lower Town where you can visit Ban Jelacic central square and admire a mixture of distinct architectural styles that characterize this part of the city.
