Fifteen years ago, I founded TrueTrips as a startup with a mission of bringing immeasurable happiness to our guests, caring for them like we would for our own friends and family, and providing them with exemplary customer service. Over the years, as the company grew to offer travel to 13 countries, this vision has been a goal that all of us at TrueTrips have been trying to live up to each and every day of our working lives. Today, as mankind unites in dealing with an unprecedented crisis in the modern, interconnected world, adhering to our TrueTrips founding values feels more relevant than ever.
We are ever grateful to our guests for their understanding, co-operation and support. You truly give us immense strength to continue serving you, and to keep your aspiration for a dream trip to Europe and the Mediterranean alive for when you are ready to travel again. We may even surprise you with even more available “True-countries” when that happens.
Since the very early days of COVID-19, we took swift action to prioritize the health of our employees. As a result, 100% of our team has been working remotely since March 13th. On top of quarantine conditions and dealing with the same dire emergency as the rest of the world, we have continued caring for our guests, leaving no stone unturned even under the most adverse of circumstances. I have never been more proud of each and every member on my team: I couldn’t possibly thank you enough for your committed effort, and even more so today. As for our exceptional guides, drivers, hotels and all the people in the field who bring our TrueTrips vision to reality through hard work and determination, you have my word that we will do our utmost to support you during these challenging times.
We at TrueTrips are certain that the anticipation of a future trip will give everyone hope, even as most of Europe and the US is gradually engaging in social distancing. The time of celebrating people and cultures through travel is closer than we’d all think. Til then, it can lie in our hearts and minds as we keep ourselves and our loved ones safe.
It's important to remember that like all the challenges that have come before it, this too shall pass. In the meantime, let’s keep our smiles going, let’s keep our dreams going, and let's stay positive. Here’s to the time you’ll be ready for us to welcome you again and celebrate life through travel.
